Across our Benefice and LEP we aim to be a welcoming and inclusive church. We strive to create
a safe space for people of all ages, black and ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBGTQAI+ people,
as well as those who are physically impaired, neurodivergent and people with learning disabilities.
We believe that the good news of Jesus is about being welcomed for who you are regardless of
background, ability, sexual orientation or colour.
We will try to make our buildings as accessible as possible. Large screens and a hearing loop are
permanently installed at St Mary’s and the URC.
We are committed to do better, to challenge where necessary and to genuinely welcome all.
